Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that each guest has an enjoyable experience, making them want to return.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as food items, following established recipes and standards.
• Operate POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering recommendations.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as barista is required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and beverage crafting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
