Position Overview:
The primary role of the Rehab Aide is to aid in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care and support services under the direct supervision of licensed Therapists. Contribute to the overall positive image of the organization department. Ensures that all required documentation and required forms are appropriately completed included in patient charts.
Essential Duties(include but are not limited to):
- Assists with and performs routine assigned physical and occupational therapy treatments; demonstrating knowledge of treatment goals and precautions in order to assist with or treat patients.
- Follows all safety regulations, protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Communicates with facility staff.
- Confers with therapists to establish efficient treatment schedules.
- Transports, transfers, and facilitates patient care as directed by therapists.
- Prepares patient equipment and supplies for treatment.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
- C.N.A Certification in the State of CA required, current and active.
- 6 months RNA experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Hospital.
- RNA Certification preferred.
- Able to communicate in the English both verbally and in writing.
- Able to move and transfer residents in conjunction with standard treatment and in accordance with orientation and training program.
- This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
