Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy, California. The successful candidate will work closely with our rehabilitation team to implement patient treatment plans and provide excellent care to our patients.
About the Role: As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their optimal functional abilities and skills. You will work under the supervision of a primary physical therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the needs and capabilities of each patient.
Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include instructing and communicating with patients, families, and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program. You will also be responsible for providing timely written documentation as required by insurance providers, supporting department operations, and participating in development initiatives.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy and hold a current California Physical Therapy Assistant License. You must also possess a Healthcare Provider BLS Certification approved by the AHA and demonstrate respectful conversation in tone and content.
Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, including 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales, which can compensate successful candidates for up to 30 years of relevant experience.
