Plumb Supply Company is looking for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail, and a team player to join their Fort Dodge, Iowa team as a Counter Associate. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers both in person and over the phone to analyze current and future
  needs to determine the most appropriate level of service/sales
• Demonstrate comprehensive company product knowledge to customers and effectively articulate the company's competitive advantage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge preferred
• Successful customer service experience and great communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and customers both in person and on the phone
• Strong PC skills with Microsoft Windows, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
• Demonstrate an ability to create a positive work environment
• Attention to detail
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)

$17.00 - $20.00 / hour
