Warehouse Manager

Plumb Supply Company, a leading distributor of plumbing and HVAC products, seeks a dependable and detail-oriented individual with a great attitude to join our Davenport, IA team as a Warehouse Manager. This Warehouse Manager position will work full-time Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Operational Oversight : Monitor daily warehouse operations to ensure staff are performing their duties efficiently and effectively. Provide guidance and support as needed to address any operational challenges.
• Transportation Coordination : Arrange and oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery. Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
• Order Fulfillment : Ensure that all customer orders are processed and fulfilled accurately and on time. Work closely with the sales teams to address any order-related inquiries or issues.
• Inventory Management : Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely replenishment.
• Scheduling and Shift Management : Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all warehouse operations. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate peak periods, staff absences, and other operational needs.
• Performance Management : Conduct regular performance evaluations to assess employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and set goals for improvement. Recognize and reward high-performing employees to maintain motivation and morale.
• Conflict Resolution : Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise among staff members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.
• Performs other duties as needed
