Job description
“Outside Sales Representative”
· Prospect daily in the field and on the phone to convert and/or sign new accounts to grow Plumber Today’s commercial service customer base.
· Develop customer relationships.
· Implement strategic Sales Plans.
· Enter all customer related data into Hubspot, the Plumber Today’s CRM real time daily.
· Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
· Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in our area.
· Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.
· Identify potential opportunities for company growth.
· Be the face of Plumber Today and represent your team to the prospects and customers in the field.
· Set correct customer expectations to ensure their satisfaction.
· Perform inspections at customer sites to identify potential future work for our technician staff.
· Help technicians with creating estimates or customer invoices if needed.
· Participate in marketing activities and provide valuable feedback from the customer community and our skilled technicians to help drive marketing decisions.
· Advise the Plumber Today team on best business practices for pricing, marketing and sales strategies.
· Advise and assist with developing policies and procedures.
· Make suggestions on process improvements.
· Maintain receipts for fuel purchases and submit to accounting frequently and/or daily.
· Use House Call Pro to record time for payroll.
· Represent well the image and culture of Plumber Today by wearing your uniform appropriately, presenting a clean and neat appearance and keeping your vehicle clean and in good working order.

Skills
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in territory or direct sales environments.
- Strong account management skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with software tools for tracking sales activities and managing accounts.
- Experience in inside sales or technical sales is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and client needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients at all levels.

Expected work schedule: Currently, the work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM with the flexibility to adjust to accommodate after hours networking or promotional events (40-hour work week).
Expected Travel: Daily travel to and from customer and prospect locations. There will be minimum overnight travel unless attending occasional training or conferences which may require overnight travel.
Job Location: Most duty days will start at the Kannapolis location of Plumber Today.
Pay: $25.00 per hour base paid bi-weekly. In addition, commissions will be paid quarterly on or before the second pay period following the end of the calendar quarter. No over-time will be available during the initial trial period as an independent contractor.
Commission: 10% of sold plumbing jobs or service plans.
