Job Description:
The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage all financial transactions related to AP and AR, including invoicing, payments, and collections. This role is essential to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in AP and AR and possess the organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding account discrepancies and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Answer incoming phone calls and monitor voicemails and faxes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with AP and AR.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience working in the trades/plumbing sector.
