Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Help with the reading and interpretation of schematics and blueprints to understand plumbing layouts.
- Support experienced plumbers in construction plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and field service skills.
Experience
- Previous experience or coursework related to plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of construction plumbing principles is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics will be advantageous for success in this role.
