What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Oversee: Supervise and schedule warehouse and delivery staff to ensure safe, efficient, and effective daily operations.
- Maintain Excellence: Ensure all merchandise is received, stored, and processed in line with company standards and regulations.
- Optimize Operations: Plan and schedule inventory activities, coordinate inter-company transfers, and oversee accurate order preparation and shipment.
- Enhance Efficiency: Recommend and manage warehouse equipment, maintain preventative vehicle programs, and uphold safety practices.
- Support Growth: Hire, train, evaluate, and mentor staff while fostering a positive and productive environment.
- Drive Results: Develop and analyze operational reports, assist with implementing policies that boost productivity, and maintain budget goals.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience & Skills:
- Proven supervisory/management experience (minimum 1-2 years required; 4 years preferred).
- Background in product applications and wholesale distribution (preferred).
- Strong management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and distribution/warehouse management software.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED (Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field preferred).
- Valid understanding of OSHA, DOT regulations, and logistics operations.
