Building / Fleet Maintenance
Plumbing, Cooling, & Electrical Nerds is committed to delivering exceptional service and solutions. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to oversee and upkeep of our fleet, facilities, and equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all fleet, building, and maintenance activities to ensure the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our operations. This includes overseeing vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and facility upkeep. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm.
DAILY EXPECTATIONS
- Manage routine and emergency maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of fleet and equipment to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of issues.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment in the warehouse.
- Additional tasks as assigned within the department
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Mechanical experience, light experience with basic plumbing and electrical.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Organize and manage time well.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
OUR MUST HAVES
- MUST have own tools. Specialty tools will be provided as jobs come up requiring them.
- Must be honest & ethical.
- Must be at least 21 Years of age.
- Must be a team player and able to work well with minimum supervision.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing 70 up to 100 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license (no "major moving violations").
- Must have a strong attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
The position requires a considerable amount of physical activity including walking, standing for lengthy periods of time, lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, crawling in tight spaces and reaching/grasping. Equal amount of time spent indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours.
