As a Fleet, Building, and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all fleet, building, and maintenance activities to ensure the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our operations. This includes overseeing vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
DAILY EXPECTATIONS
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the fleet, building, and maintenance.
- Manage routine and emergency maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
- Track tool inventory and ensure proper storage and organization.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and other relevant codes.
- Manage logs to keep accurate records of expenses, repairs, and replacements.
- Conduct regular inspections of fleet and equipment to identify areas for maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of issues.
- Handle emergency situations such as equipment breakdowns, vehicle breakdowns and building repairs promptly.
- Assist technicians with daily tasks such as tool checkout and maintenance.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment in the warehouse.
- Work as part of a team to improve department operations and provide constructive feedback.
- Additional tasks as assigned within the department.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and vehicle maintenance.
- Experience in fleet management, facility maintenance, or tool repair is a plus.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tracking software or willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safe work practices.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Organize and manage time well.
- Ability to work within tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills required.

- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- Ability to lift, push or pull items weighing 70 up to 100 pounds
- Navigate and follow driving directions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (no “major moving violations”).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
The position requires a considerable amount of physical activity including walking, standing for lengthy periods of time, lifting up to 70 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, crawling in tight spaces and reaching/grasping. Equal amount of time spent indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours.
