Responsibilities
- Demonstrate safe behaviors at all times and understand equipment operations and hazards.
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment to prevent fires and ensure operational safety.
- Push up trucks and mix wood to maintain a consistent blend on the pile face.
- Operate front-end loader to load hog fuel and transfer wood as needed.
- Conduct moisture testing and record data from product samples.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work area at the truck dump and pit.
- Monitor truck drivers for compliance with plant safety requirements.
- Assist with plant downtime and maintenance activities as assigned.
- Recognize and respond to equipment malfunctions, reporting to supervisors as necessary.
- Communicate effectively and assist in training co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
