Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong and analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, analyze, and implement efficient mechanical systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient designs.
- Perform energy modeling, load calculations, and system evaluations to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and oversee system installations.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation for client and regulatory approval.
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and building codes to maintain best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
- 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering design, preferably in a multidisciplinary firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, , and mechanical design software or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and LEED principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
