Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting as required.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and operating forklifts.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving preferred; familiarity with box trucks is a plus.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as necessary.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
