Plunkett Distributing is seeking a Plant Manager who will direct tasks and work processes for all positions within the plant. This position will create and improve procedures to increase net profit while maintaining a positive work environment.
Essential Duties
- Direct all operational personnel, customer service personnel, and sales personnel.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures to reduce overhead and increase net profits.
- Developing team members and putting them in the best positions for their talent.
- Sharing knowledge with other branches and senior management on effective practices and competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
- Networking to improve company reputation and sales in the market.
- Learning and staying informed about conditions in the market and communicating with senior leadership and Branch management.
- Understanding industry machinery operation and maintenance.
- Understanding industry machinery software.
Minimum Qualifications
- A can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of management techniques and best practices.
- Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
- Excellent organizations skills.
- Ability to look at processes and standards to improve net profits and employee culture with very little oversight.
- Industry machinery and software.
- Project management skills.
Expected Hours of Work
- Full time
- Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- May work overtime and holidays
