What are the responsibilities and job description for the Running Sport Coach position at Plus One, an Optum Company?
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Running Sport Coach to work at a high-profile retail company’s fitness center located in Beaverton, Oregon.
What you will do:
- Conduct fitness assessments and implement personalized running programs to motivate and inspire your clients.
- Provide guidance to members on proper running mechanics and gait.
- Remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
- This is an excellent opportunity to build a successful portfolio based on your availability. There are additional opportunities to teach group fitness classes and to provide coverage.
What we are looking for:
- USATF Level 1 Program certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Preferred but not required: A bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or a related field, or a NCCA-accredited personal training certification.

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
