About the Role

In order for the global energy system to make the transition from a carbon-based grid, to a renewable energy grid, large scale energy storage must be introduced into the electricity system to balance intra-hour supply and demand. Energy storage is the enabler of high penetration variable renewable generation like solar and wind.
The Analyst on the Strategic Analytics team will work under the guidance of the Director, Business Operations & Strategic Analytics. The Analyst will play a critical role in supporting data management, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. This position will assist in streamlining the company's data assets, developing analytics tools that enable a best-in-class development process, and creating streamlined financial reports and operational performance insights.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that streamline workflows and enable visibility into the organization's data assets and finances.
- Support efforts to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by working with internal teams to align on data management and quality control best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, Development, Legal, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), Commercial, Asset Operations and Performance, Data Science and Software Engineering, and IT teams to gather requirements and support data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows, reduce manual reporting efforts, and enhance operational efficiency using modern data tools.
- Assist in developing, tracking, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support project tracking and strategic decision-making.
- Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to strategic analytics, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry best practices.
