As a Runtime Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the development and optimization of our compute platform, including the inter-host communication stack, which is a critical foundational building block to SuperDrive, one of the most advanced L4 autonomous driving systems.

As a Runtime Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the development and optimization of our compute platform, including the inter-host communication stack, which is a critical foundational building block to SuperDrive, one of the most advanced L4 autonomous driving systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize communication protocols over high-speed links, such as PCIe and High-Speed Ethernet.
- Reduce inter-host data transfer latency and improve system reliability.
- Design and implement safety and security measures for inter-host communication to comply with automotive-grade standards.
- Utilize Nvidia's native NvSci infrastructure to optimize camera stream Inter-Process Communication (IPC), thereby enhancing both performance and safety.
- Draft thorough documentation for planned and executed activities.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or other related engineering field
- Proficient in C , python, and Linux CLI
- Experienced in Linux network programming and kernel optimization, and profiling tools
- Hands-on experience with ARM system development
- Familiarity with robotics or automotive middleware, such as ROS, ROS2 or DDS
- Understanding of inter-host communication protocols and safety/security principles
- Hands-on experience with Robotics and Autonomous Driving systems
- Previous working experience with multinational teams and interdisciplinary projects
- Basic understanding of functional safety concepts
