LOCATION : Primarily remote, but would need to be in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) for any onsite installations
CLEARANCE LEVEL : TS / SCI with polygraph

Design, develop, build, and implement high impact solutions using best practices to solve customers’ diverse challenges across the department of defense and national security landscapeWork collaboratively with other consultants, participating in daily scrum activities and related ceremoniesWrite documentation in the form of runbooks, diagrams, infrastructure design, configurations, processes, and issues to monitor and track the status and health of IT infrastructureTravel to customer sites on an as needed basisEngineer, implement, and integrate multi-cloud and on-prem edge solutions using state of the art technologiesImplement Software Defined Networking solutions that align with multi-cloud and on-prem requirementsAnalyzes system requirements and defines technology infrastructure that will meet business needs, including server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocolsEnsures that all systems are working at optimal levels and offers support to the application development department regarding new technologies and system requirementsDesigns security measures to protect an organization's data and networks.Ensures that architecture project roll-outs meet security standards and are effectively integrated with current applications and scalable for future needsMay be expected to provide leadership through knowledge in the area of expertiseKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Experience with engineering solutions within a multi-cloud environment (AWS and Azure)Possesses knowledge of infrastructure, application programming, and web and software applicationsExperience working on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledgeAble to work independently and autonomously while possessing strong communication and collaboration skillsDemonstrated understanding of modern processing techniques on CPUs, including vectorization, pipelining, and cachingExperience with TerraformExperience with Kubernetes (containerization solutions)Experience programming in two or more software programming languagesExperience with delivering modern technology stacks using cloud services, such as microservices and infrastructure-as-codeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field is highly desired for a Mid-level role and is required for senior role4 to 10 years (mid to senior) of related experience is requiredCustomer facing skills with ability to drive discussions with customer engineers as well as senior stakeholdersFamiliarity with public sector, governance and compliance in the cloud, NIST SP 800-53, FEDRAMP, DOD cloud computing security requirements guide (CC SRG), DOD secure cloud computing architecture (SCCA), DOD architecture framework (DODAF), and other relevant frameworksA current cloud certificationOther :
