Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink trends, new products, and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Familiarity with Jonas or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
