Assignment Information

  • Access to Support
  • Part-Time
  • 29 Hours/Week (Monday - Friday when instruction is in session)
  • $15/Hour - starting wage is based on the current Midland Federation of Paraprofessionals Master Bargaining Agreement

 Essential Functions

  • Organization
  • The ability to explain curriculum expectations following directive from teacher
  • Ability to work professionally with staff, students, parents and other providers
  • Dependable Attendance
  • Basic understanding of technology
  • Ability to assist with personal care needs
  • Some lifting may be required
  • CPR/First Aid training preferred
  • Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral management techniques 

Highly Qualified

Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must provide evidence of being Highly Qualified in accordance with the No Child Left Behind Act.  This can be achieved by submitting college transcripts or successfully completing the ParaPro Assessment which measures the skill and knowledge essential for clarrom assistance.  Click HERE to learn more about the assessment
