SALARY 

$102,170 - $114,566

Under the direction of the Vice President of People Strategy, the Employee Experience and Engagement Program Manager is responsible for a full range of initiatives to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement and overall employee workplace experience. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure that employee needs and expectations are met.

Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we’re not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING IN THIS ROLE AT PLYMOUTH HOUSING

  • Develop and implement strategies for employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Create and manage wellness programs.
  • Lead staff engagement efforts, including meetings and events.
  • Champion Plymouth’s values, mission, and vision throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Foster a sense of belonging, inclusion, and community.
  • Organize events to promote well-being and positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain internal communication channels for engagement.
  • Address questions and concerns about initiatives promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and best practices.

  • Effective communication with diverse groups.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate across all levels.
  • Adaptive, resilient, and self-directed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or equivalent, relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing Human Resources experience managing and/or leading People Programs.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement and utilizing data to make informed improvement recommendations and decisions.
  • Work or volunteer experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred.
