We are looking for a Physical Therapist who shares our passion for mentorship and growth to join our team in Brighton, MI . At Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists, we offer a variety of specialized services, including Balance/LSVT, Laser Therapy, Good Health 30 Programming, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Pelvic Pain, Pregnancy Postpartum, Running Performance, Sports Rehabilitation, Urinary Incontinence, and Workers/Industrial Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and develops and initiates treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review the Physician's referral (Prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
• Provides direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
• Documents findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Completes a written plan of care, develops goals based on evaluation findings, and meticulously crafts a comprehensive program to attain these goals, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Implements physical therapy treatment program and provides essential physical therapy treatments.
• Communicates effectively and respectfully with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies, ensuring everyone is kept informed and involved in the patient's care.
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
  
  

Requirements

• Must possess a Master of Physical Therapy Degree (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT)
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current state of Michigan license or ability to obtain Michigan license and CPR certification.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) abilities are a plus
• Possesses basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, Database software, and MS Office.
