- Maintain and/or improve upon the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans to include completing sales calls and closing sales.
- Achieve individual monthly sales goals and targets (call-outs, appointments, sales, closings, etc.) as assigned by Sales Director.
- Develop and maintain relationships with and generates leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources.
- Ensure that each prospect receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every prospect, maintaining solid product knowledge, and all other aspects of customer service.
- Work with other sales team members and community management to plan, coordinate, and implement monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events.
- Work in collaboration with other sales team members in developing and executing marketing plans to achieve community occupancy goals.
- Maintain prospect interest and commitments through continuous follow-up.
- Work with family members and Resident Services Manager when IL resident needs to transfer to a higher level of care.
- Follow organizational procedures in lead tracking and maintain current records of all leads and prospects as required by the organization.
- Professionally represent the organization at public and community functions and foster a positive image of the community.
- Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all Plymouth Place policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field recommended.
- Minimum five (5) years’ sales experience required. Sales experience within a senior living environment recommended.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Demonstrated Customer Relationships Management (CRM) experience.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing to include principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services.
- Knowledge and understanding of the senior market and various senior living products.
- Proven experience to include marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales systems. Consultative selling skills highly recommended.
- The ability to speak well to individuals, or to groups, makes a good first impression, and is empathetic towards others.
- Exhibit and possess drive and perseverance and be committed to going "the extra mile" to achieve sales and marketing goals.
- Thorough understanding of senior housing and referral sources.
- Display a high degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics.
- Ability to work effectively as a team with organizational partners and other functional areas.
- High energy, strong goal orientation and a big picture vision.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with patients and employees.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: The physical activities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking and standing functions. The position also often involves sedentary work where sitting is required most of the time, with occasional standing or walking. The position also often requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Must be able to perform activities with close visual acuity, such as reading a computer screen and reading print material. The functions of this position are conducted in a temperature-controlled environment.
