Plymouth Regional High School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Outdoor Recreation Leadership Teacher to join our Career and Technical Education team for the 2025–2026 school year. This permanent, full-time position includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation, Adventure Education, or a related field; have relevant work experience and current industry credentials, including Wilderness Outdoor First Responder certification; and be eligible for New Hampshire Business Management and Administration (CTE) Endorsement (1760) or Comprehensive Business Endorsement (0300)
The teacher will lead students through hands-on, four-season outdoor learning experiences, including coursework, internships, and Extended Learning Opportunities. Core instruction will emphasize leadership, programming, site management, and the planning and delivery of inclusive, safe, and engaging outdoor recreation services. Strong candidates will have experience in applied teaching, backcountry travel, student behavior management, and collaboration with community partners. A deep commitment to equity, diversity, and student empowerment is essential.
