This position requires independent judgment in applying and adapting university guidelines, policies and procedures. It is critical in its ability to provide consistent, historical stability to the operational structure of the cluster/academic unit/discipline through training, adherence/knowledge of institutional policy, procedures and rules and regulations.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Enter, maintain, and update data in the Banner system in support of Course scheduling of Undergraduate and Graduate Courses
- Oversee budget monitoring, reporting and assist in budget preparation through query management; report writing, tracking expenditures and/or revenues.
- Purchase supplies, equipment and tools using PCards and purchase orders.
- Academic Forms: process all UG and Grad student academic forms within the Academic Unit faculty approval process and submit completed forms to the Registrar’s Office.
- Collection, aggregation, and dissemination of Academic Unit’s faculty’s activities; including, but not limited to work-plans, classroom observation reports and TL semester availability forms.
- Document, track, report and ensure policy compliance of direct pays, personal reimbursements, professional development funds and faculty/student travel
- Administrative support for any accreditation; and act as recording secretary for the Academic Unit’s monthly faculty meetings
- Distribute general program information, and conduct activities to support academic programs and initiatives including creating and maintaining displays, digital monitors, bulletin boards, postings, etc.
- Communicate information regarding compliance to PSU and/or USNH policies and procedures. Assist in updating, creating, and/or improving policies and procedures
- Assist with contract facilitation by working with cluster/discipline team and finance.
- Oversee program/discipline grants and student awards, scholarships, honor society and course fees.
- Scholarship Management: serve as the support liaison with the Office of Advancement, the Office of Financial Aid, and includes, review, awarding and acknowledgements.
- Support Academic Unit’s faculty to ensure effective membership management of any Honor Society within said AU.
- Direct marketing outreach materials: create marketing resources, control compliance and certify authorization for all Academic Unit related marketing and outreach materials.
- Support web content on the AU SharePoint sites.
- Administrative liaison for project management within the program/discipline/university.
- Support project initiatives through coordination, deadline management, recordkeeping, document preparation, and research for projects that include upgrades to technology, research, cluster projects, and accreditation.
- Manage events and conferences for AU.
- Manage student/supplemental staff including supervision, recruitment, and training, mentoring, and advising.
- Facilitate human resource activities such as employee on/off boarding, new hire orientation, ensure compliance with Department of Labor laws and university policies/ and approve student and adjunct staff payroll
- All other duties assigned
