What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at PM Biomedical Inc.?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient warehouse/shipping and receiving clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, assisting the inventory department, verifying the accuracy of shipments, processing shipments and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damages
- Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and destination
- Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate with carriers for timely delivery
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all shipping and receiving documents
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and other departments to resolve any issues with shipments
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to shipping and receiving
