Job Responsibilities
Participate in conceptual and detailed design efforts by identifying scope, gathering user requirements, and providing comment on design packages.
Conduct regular contractor safety evaluations to ensure all appropriate construction safety requirements are being adhered to. Review project submittals and RFIs to ensure project aligns with client corporate specifications and standards as well as industry best practice.
Update site drawings, system P&IDs, and other documents as needed to ensure accurate as-built conditions are recorded. Coordinate project activities with all internal and external parties to ensure project activities do not negatively impact site operations.
Deliver periodic project status reports to all internal project stakeholders, including internal customers, engineering, and plant management. Interact with city inspectors and outside contractors as needed within the scope of assigned projects.
Provide daily oversight of all on-site contractors for assigned projects, including scheduling of contractor activities, oversight of contractor safety while on site, and acting as liaison between contractors and site personnel as required.
