We are looking for an experienced and highly technical Project Manager to oversee the construction and design of new campus spaces at one of our Data Center clients. In this role, you will blend your technical expertise in construction and architecture with exceptional project management skills to ensure the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies and building systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the construction and design process, coupled with the ability to manage technical teams, resolve complex issues, and drive the successful delivery of projects in line with our client's ambitious vision for its workplace environments.


PM Group is currently engaged in the delivery of multiple Data Center projects in the USA. Together we will all be sharing knowledge, learning, growing and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Group’s ongoing expansion in the US. Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) is an integral part of our ability to support clients across the complete project life cycle. We deliver fast, flexible outsourcing solutions for clients worldwide. You will be on-site executing cutting-edge projects for Data Center facilities for both US and international clients.

Responsibilities:


  • Technical Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end technical aspects of new campus development projects, ensuring that design, construction, and operational systems integrate effectively. Oversee the planning, design, and execution of innovative, technology-driven campus spaces.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as design, engineering, IT, and facilities management to define technical project requirements, system integrations, and technology-enabled solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of the campus spaces.
  • Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Lead technical discussions with contractors, architects, and external design firms, ensuring that all technical aspects of the projects (e.g., smart building technologies, IT infrastructure, energy systems) meet high standards. Ensure contractors adhere to quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules with a focus on technical deliverables. Coordinate with all involved teams to ensure milestones are met while minimizing disruptions.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, tracking costs related to technology infrastructure, construction, and systems integration. Provide financial oversight to ensure projects are delivered within allocated resources.
  • Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify technical risks and potential challenges early in the process, working with the team to develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues related to technology, systems integration, and construction to keep the project on track.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that all technical systems and design elements comply with our clients standards, as well as relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability requirements. Conduct quality control checks at each phase of the project.
  • Technology Innovation: Advocate for the use of new and emerging technologies (e.g., smart building systems, energy-efficient design, integrated IT networks) to optimize space functionality and contribute to the sustainability of campus spaces.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and organized project documentation, including technical specifications, design changes, and progress reports. Provide detailed and transparent updates to leadership and key stakeholders.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related technical field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, RICS) a plus.

Experience: 5 years of experience in technical project management, ideally within the construction, design, or technology sectors. Experience with large-scale corporate campus or commercial construction projects is highly preferred.
