Job Summary
The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing and reconciling the day’s transactions, ensuring the accuracy of the hotel’s financial records. This role involves auditing and posting room, restaurant, and bar charges, generating essential reports, and resetting the system for the next day’s operations. The Night Auditor serves as a key team member, assisting with front desk operations as needed, and maintaining exceptional service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Financial Auditing :
Balance and reconcile daily revenues from rooms, restaurants, and bar transactions.
Run audit reports / journals from front office and POS systems.
Perform Guest Service Agent (GSA) duties as needed, including checking in guests, managing reservations, and handling phone inquiries.
Assist with the breakfast bar setup as required.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations using a 10-key calculator.
Ability to handle computer-related issues during the shift and address guest and employee concerns positively and efficiently.
Self-starter with an even disposition and a professional appearance.
