What You’ll Do:
As the Catering Coordinator, you will have the pivotal role of supporting the daily operations of the catering team to ensure they meet the hotel’s financial goals. While supporting the Sales and Catering Department in their administrative duties and acting as the go-between for catering and other departments, the Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
Here are just a few of the tasks you can expect to do on a daily basis:
· Communicate information to other managers and departments.
- Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, room requests and amenities to relevant departments throughout the hotel.
· Maintain a filing system and log appropriate files.
· Type correspondence, proposals, and contracts as directed by management.
Where You’ve Been:
You have at least a high school diploma and at least 1 years’ experience working in hospitality. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a necessity. If you are driven, organized, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills then this may be the position for you.
