What You’ll Do:
Do you enjoy working directly with clients? Are you someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail? As the Executive Meeting Manager, you’ll be responsible for uncovering leads, sending proposals and contracts as well has handling all the meeting details from start to finish. This position offers the right candidate the chance to develop long last relationships with planners as you will be their sole contact for their event, ensuring that their meeting is executed flawlessly.
Here are some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for regularly:
- Prospect for new business through individual creativity and innovation.
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
- Handling all facets of the event from billing, reservations, room diagrams, food and beverage menus, etc.
· Follow proper event management procedures for event execution.
- Respond to all leads and RFPs within 24 hours.
Where You’ve Been:
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of experience in F&B and at least a year in sales. You are someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work well under pressure. Most importantly you are a people person! You must work professionally and positively with guests and clients at all times.
