What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Sales Manager| Crowne Plaza| King of Prussia, PA position at PM New Logo?
This exciting position will lead to professional development opportunities within the suburban market. This individual will support the sales team's efforts as well as create marketing projects that bring exposure to the Hotel. Additional duties will include negotiating room rates, function space, growing positive relationships with existing accounts and participating in events/functions within the local community for the hotel.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in Corporate Group Sales, Special Events, and Tourism. The core focus of this position is the development of sustained group attendance that meets established annual revenue and attendance goals. Additional duties include working with the local CVB and concierge organization to build the organization’s presence in the Sports and Tourism industry, toward the goal of increasing hotel revenue.
Strong leadership abilities and exemplary sales performance are attributes that are required for this position. In addition, vibrant written and oral communication skills coupled with thorough knowledge of social media and the ability to multitask are crucial components that will make this individual successful.
