What You’ll Do:
Complete non-technical building maintenance, guest work orders and general room maintenance. A positive do what it takes attitude will ensure success!
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting/drywall repair
- Daily property rounds
- Snow removal
- Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or guests in a pleasant manner
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
- Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building
When You’re Here:
This is not a job where you sit behind a desk. Be prepared to move around because more than half of the time you will be standing/sitting, carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more. Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours at a time and position oneself to repair things in hard-to-reach areas and occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to service the lights/roof and make other necessary repairs. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
