The Traffic Control Salesperson is responsible for selling traffic control services, including the setup and management of temporary traffic control zones for construction sites, events, or road closures, to businesses and organizations needing to manage traffic flow during work projects.
Essential Duties : Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
Identify potential clients needing traffic control services through networking, cold calling, and market research.Responsible for conducting weekly sales appointments with key decision makers on new and existing accounts.Assess a client's specific traffic control requirements, including the size of the work zone, traffic volume, and safety concerns.Present traffic control solutions and equipment to potential clients, highlighting the benefits, and safety features.Stay updated on local traffic control regulations and safety standards.Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the traffic control market.Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.Collect and analyze industry trends, competitor insights, and market intelligence to inform sales strategies and drive innovation.Cultivate a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, leveraging your expertise to exceed sales targets and drive growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Inside Sales, Operations, and Marketing, to optimize sales processes and improve customer satisfaction.Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, services, and industry developments to position the Company as a leader in the traffic control market.Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasting, CRM records, and other essential metrics to inform business decisions.Stay abreast of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices to ensure adherence to PM Security's Safety policies and procedures.Explore innovative solutions, technologies, and strategies to drive business growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance operational efficiency.Other duties as assigned.Requirements : To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. New Business Development, Lead Generation, and Business Planning skillsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)6 to 12 months related experience requiredValid drivers license and ability to meet PM Security Safety driver standardsAccount Management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven track record of sales success in construction, security or related industryKnowledge and understanding of the construction, traffic control and utilities marketAbility to build and maintain client relationshipsCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and sales analyticsSalary : $65,000 Base plus Commission.
