Job Summary
PMA Companies is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Risk Expert to join our team. As a Senior Risk Control Specialist - Public Entity, you will work closely with our governmental and public entity clients to manage their safety and risk management programs.
Main Responsibilities
- Client Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of client loss trends and exposures to loss, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Safety Policies: Develop and maintain client safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver employee and management safety and health training programs, enhancing clients' knowledge and skills.
- Audit and Compliance: Audit client compliance with safety and health regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Project Management: Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as safety or risk management.
- At least five years of experience in property and casualty risk management consultation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of mandatory regulatory codes by product line.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in safety or risk management.
