Position Summary
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing all contractual aspects of the project throughout the construction phase. This includes preparing bids and negotiating specifications for materials, equipment, manpower, and other construction services. The role ensures that all contracts comply with company standards and project requirements. The Contracts Administrator will report to the Project Controls Manager and collaborate closely with the Project Controls team to support project success.
\n- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field required.
- A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in Contract Administration is required.
- Proven track record working on large-scale construction projects valued over $100 million required.
- Proficiency in various contract types (e.g., lump sum, unit rate, cost plus, T&M, etc.) required.
- Strong data analysis skills with exceptional attention to detail are required.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical blueprints and schematics required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with effective presentation skills required.
Additional Requirements
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
