Summary/Objective:
The Project Manager, a key member of the business, is responsible for supporting client relationships through planning and executing all aspects of direct mail projects. The Project Manager ensures that all aspects of projects are fulfilled correctly and on time for PMA Direct Marketing clients with a high degree of complexity.
Essential Functions:
Project and Account Management
- Manage all aspects of direct mail projects for assigned clients, including intake, documentation, timelines, work instructions, quoting and inventory ordering, quality control and invoicing.
- Work closely with internal departments such as production, scheduling, estimating/purchasing, data service, creative and others.
- Be an advocate for the client within operations working ensure the quality and accuracy of work is completed.
- Maintain documentation of customer requirements and keep detailed, accurate records of changes and client processes.
- Verify and proactively communicate project status to clients.
- Continuously build relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Process and Workflow Management
- Create project plans, specifications, and job instructions for all necessary departments.
- Achieve a strong knowledge of PressWise, direct mail production and art specifications, USPS policies and procedures, internal processes, client programs and requirements, monitor inventory and postage levels for assigned client to avoid project delays and to provide reporting as needed.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a project management role, ideally within a direct mail service or related industry.
- Able to be a team player through relationships, cross-training and back up other team members as needed.
- Ability to learn and understand the USPS regulations for the print, direct mail, direct marketing, advertising and business services related industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in order to resolve complex issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
