Summary
The Associate Vice-President, Sales and Relationship Manager will primarily focus will on driving sales and marketing efforts of PMA investment products and services targeted at Illinois local government clients and prospects. This role emphasizes expanding the client base while collaborating with Institutional Investment Specialists to manage investment portfolios tailored to municipalities’ needs, oversees client relationships, the productions of cash flow process, and bond proceeds management services.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute sales strategies to attract and secure new municipal accounts in Illinois.
Maintain and nurture strong client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Oversee cash flow analysis process and provide guidance on bond proceeds management services.
Collaborate with Institutional Investment Specialists to facilitate optimal investment portfolio solutions for municipal clients.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering market insights and solutions to support their financial objectives.
Present at Board or Finance Committee meetings of Illinois Municipalities providing overview of PMA products and services.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) degree from four-year college or university; five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience in Investment Management (Broker-Dealer–Advisor) Environment
Licenses, registrations, and certifications – SIE, Series 7, 63, and 50 or attainment within one year of employment, in which the company will sponsor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, a proven track record in sales and relationship management, an understanding of municipal finance a plus.
