Summary
The Investment Operations Associate is responsible for providing middle office investment support across various investment platforms. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and verifying all paperwork associated with the placement and redemption of bank deposits on behalf of investment clients. This includes daily contact with bank partners as well as internal associates to confirm the transfer of funds.
Essential Functions
- Consistently demonstrates exceptional internal and external service with clients, coworkers, along with the core values : Integrity, Performance and Commitment.
- Steward of compliance, coordinates with company staff to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations and reports.
- Models, mentors, and leads colleagues teams to develop innovative methods and approaches for efficacy.
- Read incoming emails and other materials to determine the appropriate action.
- Preparing and verifying new CD paperwork to confirm with all bank clients.
- Preparing and verifying all CD closeout wire instructions. Along with monitoring all funds received and any differences accepted and documented.
- Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered, classifying information according to guidelines, such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
- Place materials into storage receptacles, such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to classification and identification information.
- Promptly answer questions about records or files and or investigate and correct errors upon customers' request, according to customer and system records.
- Eliminate outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage, according to file maintenance guidelines or legal requirements.
- Compile information about new accounts, order new accounts, enter account information into investment system, and file related forms or other documents.
- Read, compare and verify data with source documents, entering data in specific data fields using keyboards and re-verification for complete accuracy.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education and / or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent related experience and / or training is required.
