This is for a On Site Manager position located in Chesapeake, VA
ON-SITE ASSOCIATION MANAGER
We are seeking a team-oriented individual who is proactive, articulate, & results driven to manage a 55 and better condominium community consisting of 486 units.
You must be able to exercise good judgement. Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize among them. You must have strong customer support and customer management skills.
The position requires you to cultivate and maintain good relationships with clients and know the importance of a positive and team-oriented relationship with staff. Strong verbal and written Communication skills
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct supervision of on-site staff
- Coordination of vendors/contractors to perform maintenance & repairs
- Provide constant client/vendor communication
- Assistance with community event execution
- Maintain an action item tracker
- Liaison between property owners and the Association Board.
- Prepare RFP's and securing of Bids for Association work which requires such, along with an executive summary/recommendation of the bids for presentation to the Board for action.
- Maintain positive relations with all members of the Community.
- Handle and resolve situations effectively
- Coordination with Board and other committees to ensure objectives are met.
- Prepare and distribute Board Packages which includes the meeting agenda, your monthly management report, financials, bid or proposals when needed, and other required reports to facilitate productive decision-based meeting.
- Attendance & active participation in monthly Board & Finance committee meetings
- Coordinate tasks internally with support staff to ensure client expectations are met.
- Maintain and update websites
- Inspections and Covenant enforcement
- Coordinate collection efforts with Association Attorney
- Ensure Disclosure Packages are regularly updated & current
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have experience with office software, including Microsoft Outlook
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
- Must have a vehicle or reliable mode of transportation with proof of insurance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Invoicing and financial reporting skills
- Association management experience
- Salary commensurate with experience
