TITLE : Quality Engineer | EXEMPT
DEPARTMENT : Quality
REPORTS TO : Vice President of Technology
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Under the direction of, and reporting to the Vice President of Technology, the Quality Engineer is responsible for the execution and management of organization's Quality Management System (QMS).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains all elements of the Quality Management System and functions for the company.
- Responsible for ISO 9001 compliance including calibration services, internal audit program, document control and related
- Addresses external customer, supplier quality issues, as well as internal product, raw material and manufacturing process investigations
- Liaises with suppliers of material on all quality related issues and needs
- Performs other duties as assigned, items needing immediate attention, meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field or Business Management or related field is required. Must have experience in Quality Assurance, quality systems and general laboratory procedures. Must be familiar with maintaining and executing to the ISO 9001-2015 standard. Must have proven relevant experience of two or more years in the same field. Have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy. Have a positive attitude, with a high level of accountability, personal drive, ambition, and integrity. Should understand how their own work contributes to the larger processes within the company and with other departments who are stakeholders in the quality management system.
