What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Coordinator Hybrid position at PMC Medical Group, LLC?
This is a Part-Time Remote Role. Only Accepting Applicants Residing on the East Coast.
Verify and maintain credentials for professional staff to ensure licensing and certification requirements are in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Prepare and maintain reports and/or database to ensure the facility and its providers are in compliance with all regulatory standards
Evaluate credentials of providers such as accreditation, membership or facility privileges
Cooperate with subscribers, patients, and management for verification of provider credentials
Manage applications and process requests for credentialing
Fax, file, prepare statements and/or letters related to credentialing documentation
Cooperate with auditors and regulatory agencies
Maintain a professional appearance
Maintain a courteous, considerate and respectful demeanor with patients, visitors, co-workers and management
Resolve interpersonal conflicts that arise in a professional manner
Maintain consistent attendance, reliability and punctuality
Accept constructive criticism and attempt to use it to improve personal practice
Make appropriate arrangements for absences
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., TJC, NCQA, CMS), internal policies and D-H Professional staff, by-laws, rules and regulations.
