Position Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Designer/Drafter to contribute to major projects or multiple smaller ones simultaneously. Working under general supervision, you'll translate project details into technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop precise drawings based on project specs, sales orders, and data sheets.
- Identify scope changes, estimate impact, and notify relevant teams.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy throughout project designs.
- Ensure clear communication within the engineering team and across departments.
- Follow quality control procedures.
- Must be present onsite for collaboration and teamwork.
- Frequent overtime required.
Education & Experience:
- Associates Degree required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of engineering concepts, fabrication techniques, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
