Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Onsite

Position Summary:
PMCO is looking for skilled Diesel Technicians to join our team. This role involves advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of diesel-powered equipment, including heavy trucks and industrial machinery. We are seeking hands-on professionals who are detail-oriented and passionate about keeping equipment running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance across a variety of commercial vehicles and equipment
- Use diagnostic software and tools to accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out complete overhauls on engines and transmissions with a focus on quality and reliability
- Ensure all work meets regulatory standards including DOT and safety requirements
- Maintain service logs and records in computerized maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, fleet teams, and operators to support uptime and performance
- Assist in training less-experienced technicians on proper repair procedures and diagnostics
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience working on diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment
- ASE certification or equivalent is strongly preferred
- Associate degree in Diesel Technology or related trade program is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with both mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with industry diagnostic software and repair procedures
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship
