PMCO is hiring an Installation Technician in Marion County, FL!
This is a hands-on, high-impact position where your technical expertise will play a key role in supporting our growing team across various U.S. job sites.
- Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
- Shift: Full-time, Day Shift
- Location: Based in Marion County, FL, with paid weekly travel to sites across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve issues with equipment through testing and diagnostics
- Perform both mechanical assembly and electrical system installation
- Ensure all work meets industry codes, safety standards, and technical specifications
- Deliver on-site support, including installation services, troubleshooting, and customer training
- Coordinate and execute installations while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in industrial mechanical or electrical tech preferred
- Valid driver’s license required, with any necessary endorsements for travel
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role with technical problem-solving responsibilities
- 5–7 years of combined hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical work, ideally in manufacturing or military environments
- Skilled with hand and power tools, mechanical systems, and electrical components
- Strong understanding of wiring, circuitry, and system troubleshooting
- Must be available to travel up to 75% of the time
