PMCO is hiring for a Lead Maintenance Technician in Columbia, MO.
Schedule: Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
Pay: $36-$46 /hour (based on experience)
Experience: Minimum 10 years in maintenance, preferably with a 2-year technical degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Plan, perform, and oversee all preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- PLC Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs and related automation systems to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Electrical Systems Management: Lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
- Team Leadership and Training: Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support for complex technical tasks.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed failure analyses and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical expertise, including knowledge of 480V systems, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety standards.
- Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and programming adjustments (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
