Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 10% annual bonus
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM start time
Join our team as a Maintenance Manager, where you’ll take the lead in overseeing a skilled team of maintenance technicians. This day-shift leadership role offers the chance to make a significant impact in ensuring smooth operations and efficient production of high-quality fluid milk and yogurt pouches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a diverse maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Oversee maintenance across pasteurization, cooling, filling, mixing, packaging, and storage systems to support production flow
- Manage work assignments, priorities, and scheduling of maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure on-time production
- Implement and improve preventive maintenance strategies using MVP or similar systems, including labor tracking and performance metrics
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of critical spare parts and equipment
- Supervise parts ordering and receiving to support uninterrupted plant operations
- Create and optimize maintenance and facilities schedules that balance preventive needs with emergency repairs while reducing overtime costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), or 8–9 years of technical experience in food manufacturing maintenance
- At least 4 years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory position
- Strong background troubleshooting high-speed dairy or food processing equipment, including ammonia refrigeration, boiler systems, and fillers
- Working knowledge of 480V 3-phase motor control circuits; PLC experience is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), MVP experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, safety- and quality-driven environments
