PMCO is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor from the Industrial Services industry in Pittsburg, CA!
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Pittsburg, CA
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance activities to ensure reliability of production and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Manage and schedule preventive maintenance and facility work assignments.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and processes.
- Oversee budgets related to building, equipment, capital expenditures, parts, and labor.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance reports.
- Identify and negotiate with parts suppliers and service companies.
- Train, supervise, and mentor the maintenance team while maintaining staffing levels.
- Utilize maintenance management systems for planning, scheduling, and tracking activities.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum 5 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in maintenance operations.
- Proficient in equipment knowledge, including wiring, plumbing, and machinery.
- Strong understanding of maintenance management, budgeting, and vendor relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to read technical blueprints.
- Preferred qualifications include boiler and HVAC knowledge, welding skills (MIG, TIG, ARC), and reliability certifications (CPMM or CRMP).
