PMCO is hiring a Maintenance Technician from the Manufacturing Industry in Grandview, MO!
Salary: $28 - $35 per hour
Shift: Days
Location: Grandview, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including high-voltage applications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, operations manuals, and technical specifications.
- Install, modify, and maintain machinery and related auxiliary equipment.
- Analyze and troubleshoot machine performance issues with production staff.
- Conduct performance testing on equipment as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with safety protocols and company policies.
- Complete work orders, maintain maintenance logs, and assist with general housekeeping duties.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage applications.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly stick welding.
- Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement prompt solutions.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation for troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical knowledge (3 years preferred).
